Gurjit Singh-Sidhu
This summer Gurjit been working with Rolls Royce on a project which looks at reducing the noise of the new Airbus A380 (The double Decker aircraft) when it comes in to land.
The results of the research were very successful and he managed to reduce the thrust on approach by a massive 62%! After a successful meeting with more than 20 seniors, it was decided that his work will be incorporated on the new engine which is currently being designed for the new Airbus XWB. Next year Gurjit plans to work with a F1 team.
