Maya was awarded the Ignite! Creative Spark award to develop skills and knowledge in digital music technology in order to create new live pieces of music; to research and engage in dialogue with professionals in the field of music production (producers and performers) to enhance her music performance skills; to develop her photographic and graphic design skills

Maya recently said on her website that ‘alternative dance music is now a major part of my productions. But generally i just create music from the heart and my tracks all contain bits of my emotions and feelings I still use minimal equipment to make my tracks. I don't think it's about what you got, it's about utilising what you have to the fullest!’
