The way that our minds work is mostly beyond our understanding. In fact if the brain were simple enough for us to understand, we would be too simple to understand it. So while we grapple with that paradox, let's look at how we get new ideas, and how creativity works, and how to make more of your ideas.
New thoughts and ideas can come to us at any time; often they come unannounced, when we least expect them, when we are relaxed (on a walk, or in the shower) or doing something completely different (like the gardening or the washing up).
This section looks at how you can make more of your ideas, when or wherever they come. At Ignite! we like the early stages of this process – the imagination or dreams or memories. As Einstein said – imagination is more important than knowledge.
