Formerly Kingsbrook College, Elizabeth Woodville school officially opened its brand new Lab 13 yesterday, and what a great launch day it was! After a meeting with the Management Team, we wandered around the various activities that were going on, and saw visiting primary students make bath bombs, a loop-the-loop k’nex challenge take place, and other students building chocolate-holding contraptions out of dried spaghetti and marshmallows!
The new Scientists-in-Residence, Wendy Tyler, was on hand throughout the day, and offered a couple of demonstrations to the visitors, setting ice on fire! She did a fantastic job organising the Launch Day, and we can’t wait to see what happens next in the Elizabeth Woodville Lab 13!
