Friday brought together some of the UK Room 13 representatives at Hareclive Primary School in Bristol, and so as part of the extended network, Ignite! was there to represent Lab_13! Room 13 was originally created in Fort William, Scotland, and is now an international movement, with Room 13s in South Africa, Nepal and Mexico, to name a few.
It was a fantastic meeting, in a fantastic Room 13 space, with lots to learn about how Room 13s operate, and an opportunity to present Lab 13 to like-minded individuals, who are really interested in the work both Room 13 and Lab 13 can do for young people’s creativity and learning.
Ignite! will hopefully be working more with the Room 13 network, and we hope to bring some Room 13 students and Artists-in-Residence to our Labs in the near future!
