About Come Alive with Science
Come Alive with Science has provided an opportunity for young people to recognise STEM subjects as creative, and are based on exploration and curiosity.
As part of the Ignition* programme, secondary schools across the East Midlands have been offered support, enabling the development of Creative Science Games through collaborations between students, artists, teachers and scientists. Come Alive with Science was designed to form links with the secondary schools’ feeder primary schools and as a result has inspired a younger age group in STEM subjects.
We have supported schools in developing links with scientists and artists and preparatory workshops were held for all involved.
Come Alive with Science events took place during National Science and Engineering Week .
