Swanwick Hall School

led by Year 8 and 9 pupils, and supported by Year 12 pupils with an interest in teaching, 'Communication through the ages' was the performance piece that was delivered to visiting primary pupils. With the help of practitioners Nikki Kemp and Tobias Ackroyd, the primary pupils were led through their 'sound-mapped' day by four groups from Swanwick Hall School; Cipher, Enigma, Lexicon and Blu-Ray.

Tibshelf Community School

In keeping with this years theme of Communication, Tibshelf Community School linked directly to its feeder primary through an incredible three mile long telephone string! Practitioners Tan Draig and Paul Merrick assisted the pupils work with pigeons with extra sensory perception, build a giant ear installation, and create a growling, snarling animal sculpture to show how animals communicate with each other.
