Invent! 2010 - The Grand Engineering Day Out
The Grand Engineering day out 2010 at the Science museum was a great day and the young people arrived to a session in the launch pad which is a large area dedicated to science in which the young people were free to touch and explore any of the exhibits there. As well as listening to music through their teeth they made discoveries about light, air pressure and gravity. Following this they went to see the materials show, which took place in a theatre, here they learnt about the properties of materials, chemical reactions and saw many things explode. This was the most favorite session for many of the young people. There was an opportunity for the students to explore the science museum and all the wonders that it has before it was time to go. The students described the day as being ‘exciting, interesting and fun’.
