Sci Art Fusions Premiere 2010

Roll out the red carpet . . .

October saw our second Sci Art Fusions premiere, held at the Nottingham Broadway. Pupils from Brookhill Leys Junior School, with their film maker, Trevor Woolery, introduced their animated film, ‘Little Egg’, which saw a chick fall from its nest, and meet the variety of creatures on the ground down below. Hope Valley College with film maker Martin Blackham presented ‘Britain’s got Science’, where contestants Marie Curie, Einstein and Brian Cox all competed for the prize of Best Scientist of all time. Holgate School, with Michelle Walker followed a CSI theme with their film, ‘Speculation’. All the films were based around a Bio-diversity theme, and all were made by, and starred, the pupils. The premiere was a fantastic event, allowing the great films to be celebrated, and seen on the big screen!
