Matthew Saxton is a psycholinguist, which means he’s crazy about language. He works at the Institute of Education in London where he does teaching and research on how babies, children and adults learn language. When he’s not puzzling about how verbs get inside a toddler’s head, Matthew has been known to hitch-hike from Istanbul to Leamington Spa, make shirts and write poetry.
