Free after school sessions for children to develop confidence, communication and self-belief through creativity and curiosity

Over the next year, Ignite! will be running 'Creative Sparks', and after school programme for children aged 5-10 in St Ann's, Sneinton and Mapperley to express their creativity and curiosity.

This project is funded by the Renewal Trust's Area Based Grant from Nottingham City Council.

To start the project, this half term we'll be at the St Ann's Valley Library after school every Monday for eight weeks. We'll be doing a wide range of creative activities, including games, experiments, crafts and performances, and we'll be joined by volunteers and researchers from Nottingham's universities. Children will be supported do develop their confidence, self-belief and communication skills through the sessions.

Book now!

We are now taking bookings for the 8 sessions at St Ann's Valley Library in June/July 2022. Children should be from St Ann's, Sneinton or Mapperley areas of Nottingham City.

The sessions have a maximum capacity of 15 children and so booking is essential. Please book on a weekly basis, rather than all 8 sessions in one go, to make sure that your child/children can attend each week. Please let us know if you are unable to attend so that we can offer the session to another child.
