The involvement of volunteers is invaluable to Ignite! projects​

We work with many volunteers in lots of different ways to deliver our projects.
​
With so many projects focusing on a broad range of different themes and specialisms, we're always on the look-out for volunteers! Our opportunities include being supporting scientists in projects with schools and community groups, running activities for the Festival of Science and Curiosity and helping us deliver science busking workshops
​
Many of our volunteers are especially interested in developing their science communication skills, gaining experience working with children and getting involved in community events.
​
We provide DBS certificate where necessary and all volunteers adhere to our Child Protection Policy.
