STEM Fluency Lab 2009
Following the success of last years STEM Fluency Lab, we are holding our second Lab in November at Whitwell, Rutland. With 20 new teachers from across the region, and three new creative practitioners joining us, it is set to be a great experience for all involved. The residential Lab will be reported on following the event.
Creative Sparks Residential
As we are recruiting more and more Creative Sparks, we are in the process of organising a creative residential lab, again to be held at Whitwell, in early February. This residential lab, to be attended by both Creative Sparks and their mentors, is designed to help inspire and enthuse the Sparks, developing their creative ideas, and meet their fellow Creative Sparks to hopefully bring together ideas and possibilities.
Come Alive with Science 2009
The Come Alive with Science collaborations between schools, creative and STEM practitioners are being formed and they will soon embark upon the development of their projects. We will be running a number of creative workshops in December for all participants which will set them on their way to designing their creative STEM activities for National Science and Engineering Week in March.
