Free after school sessions for children to explore their creativity and curiosity!

'Creative Sparks’ is Ignite!’s after school programme for children and families.​

​

Children take part in a wide range of creative activities, including games, experiments, exhibitions and performances. Sessions are delivered by expert Creative Practitioners who design activities that support the development of children's interests, talents and skills, with activities for toddlers, primary aged children, teenagers, parents/carers and grandparents. 

​

Children are supported to develop their confidence, self-belief, communication skills, have the opportunity to explore their own interests and build relationships with children from their local community throughout the sessions.

​

From September 2026, we are running Creative Sparks from three sites, Clifton Library (Tuesdays, 3.30 - 5pm), Belong Nottingham (Thursdays 3.30 - 5pm) and an asylum-seeker accommodation site. Previous sessions at Strelley Road, Meadows and St Ann's Libraries are on pause while we seek further funding.
