Fashion Fictions
A project creating alternative sustainable fashion worlds with six Bulwell primary schools

This project brought the Fashion Fictions project, led by Dr Amy Twigger Holroyd, Associate Professor of Fashion and Sustainability a Nottingham School of Art & Design, to key stage two pupils in six Bulwell primary schools.

Throughout Spring and Summer 2024, pupils explored the realities of our fashion system and develop their own alternative worlds where the way we interact with our clothes is different. Pupils worked with creative practitioners to bring these worlds to life, and presented their worlds at the Bulwell Arts Festival in July 2024.

This project was kindly funded by Nottingham Trent University, who created a resource for schools to deliver their own Fashion Fictions project as a result of the project.
